Leah has worked in the substance use and behavioral health field for more than seven years, bringing a strong foundation in trauma‑informed care and evidence‑based practices. She holds a BA in Psychology and Dance from the State University of New York at Potsdam and is an Advanced Credentialed Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC‑Advanced) in New York.

During her time in New York, Leah completed extensive training in trauma‑responsive approaches, including Seeking Safety, Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT), and Auricular Acupuncture, among numerous other professional development programs. Her dedication to client-centered, compassionate care was recognized with the JMHCA Award for Dedication in Service in 2025.

Leah relocated to Maine in August 2026, where she currently practices as a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC). She remains committed to supporting individuals and communities through integrative, strengths‑based, and trauma‑informed substance use treatment.
